Development

Each year Northern Kentucky University alumni, parents, friends, corporations and foundations express their loyalty to NKU through annual donations.  These gifts, regardless of size, respond to emerging needs and allow us to make a difference in the lives of our students.

Annual gifts support scholarships, instructional materials and equipment, technology improvements, and athletic and student activity programming on behalf of NKU's five colleges as well as Steely Library and Norse Athletics. 

Unlike endowed gifts, annual gifts are used in our current operating year, providing discretionary funds to be directed to the areas of greatest need.  This flexibility is significant and allows the colleges and programs to maintain high levels of success.

Ways to Give

• Make a secure online gift using a credit or debit card.
• Mail a check, made payable to NKU Foundation Inc. and designated to the Annual Fund for Excellence, to

• Pledge during the fall or spring phonathons. Students call alumni and friends of the university twice a year to raise money for the Annual Fund for Excellence.
